The company's current leading products include non-woven base materials for air filters. This product has a large market demand, high technical requirements, and complex processes. It is a product that many non-woven fabric companies without technology cannot complete. Our company started research and development in the second half of 2019. After more than two years of experimental development, it started cooperating with Anhui Gaobo Group in May 2021, and is currently supplying in batches. Due to the current production capacity and equipment requirements, it is not possible to mass-produce or the energy consumption of production is relatively high. For this product, our company has already had a set of ideas for optimizing the process and production line equipment. Due to the larger land area required for the equipment, the company may need more production sites and equipment.
The main production area of this product is currently in Guangzhou, while most of the air filter production units are located in Hebei, Zhejiang, Anhui and other places. This product is packaged goods, and the transportation cost is very high. These enterprises need to purchase raw materials locally or nearby. Air filters are essential consumables for every fuel locomotive. According to the calculation of 402 million motor vehicles in China, each locomotive replaces the filter element every six months, and each filter element needs about 0.5 square meters of semi-finished filter material. The total annual demand is 400 million square meters, and non-woven air filter elements account for 50%, which means that there is an annual demand for Air filter non-woven fabric of 200 million square meters. The weight per square meter is about 250 grams, so the annual demand for this material is 50 million tons.
A standard non-woven fabric equipment product has an annual output of about 1,000 tons (including post-processing), and our company plans to produce 3 such production lines, with an annual output of 3,000 tons, annual sales of 60 million yuan, and profits and taxes of 18 million yuan.
